Role Description:
The Application Tech lead would need to have at least 5 years of experience.
For this role, you need to be a strong Java developer who has done development also in the past and has experience with Production support as well.
Individual will be working in a production support role monitoring and troubleshooting multiple custom built Java applications hosted on AWS platform.

Required Experience and Skills:
• Requires 5 years of related experience in hands on application development and production support
• Ideal candidate would have prior programming/development background.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Java 8,Restful web services, spring batch, Apache Tomcat, SQL, Springboot, Microservices, GIT
• Experience supporting enterprise applications in AWS platform
• Must be very hands on and ready to wear several hats - Technical Leader/Sr. Developer, L3 production Support.
• High level expertise in the implementation, support and troubleshooting of production environments.
• Solid debugging skills to troubleshoot functional and performance issues in the Java code.
• Responsible for support of a production application, including taking a root cause approach to problem solving
• Experience using for Incident/Problem Mgmt (like ServiceNow) and Application Performance monitoring tool like App Dynamics
• Advanced troubleshooting and deductive reasoning skills including thread and heap dump analysis
• Log analysis tool like Splunk is prefered.
• Experience writing complex Splunk queries
• Ability to converse in both technical and non-technical terms to both novice and more proficient system users.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
