• Develop automation templates and otherInfrastructure-As-Code (IaC) solutions to automate the provisioning andmaintenance of large-scale environments and configuration management.
• Develop blueprints for a secure andadoptable multi-tenant cloud framework including custom governance, security,identity management and operational controls.
• Monitor existing processes entirelifecycle and updating or creating new methods for improvement and minimizingsingle points of failure or wastage
• Implement automation solutions thataccelerates the SDLC and improve operational performance.
• Identify opportunities for improvementthrough automation and monitoring.
• Assess usage and utilization trends tomake appropriate design and implementation recommendations towards scaling ourarchitecture
• Analyze AWS cost usage and identifyproblem areas or potential optimization targets.
• Acting as a thought leader on bestpractices for AWS as it relates to cost and usage.
• Foresee and forecast tooling around costmanagement to organize, control, report and Right size cloud environments whenneeded.
• Optimize costs and make necessarypricing recommendations by assimilating the data from sources such as trustedadvisor etc.
Requirements:
• 2 years of experience working inenterprise architecture and design across multiple IT functional areasinvolving hybrid cloud deployments
• 2 years of experience in capacityplanning, bench marking, business continuity and resiliency planning.
• Hands-on experience working withplatform automation tools including (any or all of the following)Cloudformation, Terraform, Ansible
• Familiarity it, BitBucket,Jenkins, and DevOps pipewith Glines
• Familiar with Agile (Scrum) SoftwareDevelopment Process and methodologies
• 3 years of experience working with theAWS platform
• Good understanding of infrastructure(DNS, Network Principles, etc )
• Experience with containerization (Dockerand/or Kubernetes) is Required
• Experience with Cost Optimization. Handson optimization experience a plus.
• Experience with building a AWS costreporting data platform that helps provide near-real time cost and visibilityacross hundreds of aws accounts.
• Experience with both managing billingand controlling costs and to build appropriate guardrails to ensure continuedcontrol
• Experience with managing ReservedInstances, Savings plans and Spot Instances.
• Have the ability to work independentlyand complete projects with minimal oversight
