Hadoop administrator who is  with experience in installing, patching, upgrading, administering, scripting and maintaining / Troubleshooting Hadoop Data lake, Kafka and StreamSets clustered environments

Main Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

Installing and setup of Hadoop clusters and its maintenance

Proper knowledge and hands-on experience in Hadoop ecosystem

Resource management in a cluster environment. This involves new node creation and removal of unused ones

Implementing and administering Hadoop infrastructure

Installing hardware and software in Hadoop environment. Expanding of existing environments

Hands on experience in Kafka & Unix Administration

Strong experience in Kafka and StreamSets

Good at Kafka architectural components

Exposure to design and implementation of high availability (HA) solution using Hardware/software Cluster

Hands-on expertise on setting up SSL, certificate/key management & MIT Kerberos

Experience with installing, patching, upgrading, administering, scripting and maintaining/Troubleshooting Kafka and StreamSets clustered environments

Detailed knowledge of Apache Kafka and Brokers

Capabilities/Skillset:

Expertise in installing, setup of Hadoop datalake

Experience in installing, configuring, managing Kafka clusters

Knowledge of real-time processing of data using data streams through pipelines

Knowledge on Yarn, Hive
