Work with business teams across the enterprise to gather and document requirements for

semantic models and dashboard deliverables

 Develop enterprise dashboards (primarily within Power BI)

 Develop Power BI semantic data models for use in multiple BI tools (Power BI, Tableau,

MicroStrategy) with a focus on an intuitive end-user, self-serve reporting experience

 Create view definitions for EDW to enable semantic models

 Create end-user documentation for leveraging semantic models

 Partner with data engineering teams to create physical and virtual data structures that support

semantic model requirements

Qualifications

 8+ years of BI development experience in an enterprise environment

 8+ years of experience working in the Microsoft analytic stack, particularly Power BI

 Excellent SQL skills

 Excellent understanding of dimensional modeling principles, with a proven track record of

implementing dimensional data structures

 Strong understanding of how BI tools consume data, and how business users interact with BI

toolsets

 Strong understanding of and how to translate underlying tables into a performant and intuitive

semantic model

 Additional experience with Tableau and MicroStrategy preferred
