The Test Specialist works with Tests Lead, business process owners and technical staff to define strategy and procedures for all levels of testing, to select testing tools, to direct the creation of test data and scripts, to establish the ERP testing environment, to validate that the SAP S/4HANA solution meets our clients Global Model Template, and to facilitate the discovery and resolution of cross-functional gaps.
• Create test plans for each type of testing (other than functional)
• Create and communicate standard instructions for test script creation; defects; progress tracking
• Monitor adherence to procedures and takes steps to enable adherence
• Ensure test environments refreshed with appropriate data at start of testing phase
• Coordinate creation of data for testing
• Review and approve test scripts
• Promote and maintain a flexible and cooperative team environment
• Work with Technical Infrastructure Team to establish testing environments
• Communicate technical project objectives to the internal IT organization
• Minimum 8 to 10 years of SAP / ERP implementation, upgrade, or migration experience in a manufacturing or project-based environment
• Test experience will include:
• complex offshore / onshore SAP configuration and RICEF development models
• complex business systems integration and critical information reporting warehouse environments
• business transformation, process standardization
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Familiar with JIRA or other test management tools
