- Debugging and troubleshooting experience with database queries, stored procedures, triggers, shell scripts, etc.
- Participate in daily scrum calls
- Execute and handle database objects, views, procedures, indexes, and file system structure
- Conduct knowledge transfer session for Support team prior to release
- Assist and support production installations
- Provide day-to-day support for production issues
- 5-7 years of relevant Sybase Developer experience preferably in the financial industry
- Strong experience working with waterfall and Agile/Kanban methodologies
- Extensive experience in writing complex stored procedures and triggers
- Good understanding of database design and normalization
- Good experience in writing Unix and Shell scripting
- Knowledge of Mongo DB, Oracle, or Informatica is an advantage
- Experience with financial applications (revenue/expense/GL) is an advantage
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Good communication/collaboration skills
- Experience working with teams located in multiple sites
- Flexible with working hours as global teams are involved
