- The candidate will be required to Prepare data quality analysis (DQA) artifacts, including recommendations and data profiles used in the analysis and interpretation of data as appropriate.
- The Candidate will be expected to proactively drive to improve processes and methods around Data Analysis. This could include helping define standards and procedures; refining methods and techniques for information modeling, recommend tools to improve delivery timeframes.
- Responsible for designing and supporting the components of data warehouses such as ETL processes, databases, reports and reporting environments.
- The candidate will be required to discover, analyze, profile and document findings on source data systems for data integration projects.
- Collects, evaluates, and prepares data analysis and/or other complex statistics on databases for a specific business unit.
- Identifies and documents all requirements both fresh and current data warehouse components and Reports by working with End Users.
- The position requires very strong SQL development skills as the candidate will be required to develop analytical reports using SQL.
- The ideal candidate will be a self-starting individual who is able to drive into details and quickly provide summary level readouts of the source data.
- The position requires very strong communication skills as the candidate will be required to interact on a daily basis with all levels within the organization, including business users, architects, developers and management.
- The Candidate will be responsible for preparing ETL technical specification documents post system/requirements analysis and also assist the ETL team during the development phase to resolve data issues and understand data constraints. Once development activities are completed the candidate will drive the initial system testing of the final application data output to ensure it is consistent with the source data system.
- Ensures quality control of databases through the development and maintenance of test plans and quality control procedures and may assist in development and implementation of measurement systems.
Mandatory Requirements:
Overall 7+ Yrs of experience
At least 3 years work experience as a data analyst in an enterprise data warehouse environment with sound knowledge in the following domains
- Data Analysis and Data Quality
- Data Warehouse Overall Architecture & Data Modelling
- Data Warehouse Databases
- Data Sourcing, Acquisition, Staging, Cleanup and Transformation Tools
- Data Marts creation
- Meta data
- Information Delivery System ( Analytics and Reporting )
Desired
- Experience with SQL and modeling tools is desired
- Experience with Teradata and other relational databases is desired.
- Experience with very large databases and knowledge of media domain preferred.
- Experience with AWS and/ or other Cloud Platforms is desired
