JOB DETAIL

As part of Long Term Care Data Warehouse (LTC-DW) team, this Business Analyst will research, elicit, analyze, validate and document business requirements, and to ensure that those requirements clearly reflect true business needs, correctly representing all stakeholders. Translates business needs into system and application requirements and project components to help determine solutions to business problems. Assists team members in producing functional requirements for tool development. Proactively identifies and manages changes to requirements and identify risks. Effectively manages client's expectations. This BA will work with the Medicaid claims related data like: Finance, Claims, Encounter, and Capitation Fees to put together a financial picture of an enrolled Medicaid member.

Job Specific Skills/Special Functions:
Business Analyst experience within the context of Data Warehouse team
Strong Business Objects (BO) Universe design experience
Experience with Webi BO reporting
BO Security tasks
Strong oral and written communication skills
Team play and strong cross team collaboration skills
Strong experience with transferring Business requirements to functional and non-functional requirements
Testing within the context of Data Warehouse team
Medicare/Medicaid/Healthcare Payer experience

Job Responsibilities:
Formulate and define system scope and objectives using client requirements
Act as a liaison between client and the Gainwell Technologies technical solution team
Using strong communication skills to elicit, document, analyze and validate business and solution requirements
Document requirements specifications using high-maturity methods, processes and tools
Support requirements management processes
Create new and maintain existing Business Objects Universes

Qualifications:
Typically a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
A minimum of 5 years of related experience
