Subject matter expertise on Data Modelling IBM IIW industry Data model, Model Design Patterns, Netezza and Hadoop required to understand the data models from the source.
Advanced Knowledge on Relational Database Systems and Big data design framework is required to translate the source data model and reverse engineer the database into the IDA tool. Source Data Model need to be explained and socialized with Client Architects and Pros/Cons provided before implementing the mapping to Target System IIW industry Data model.
Understand and translate business needs of the specific Industry into data models.
Work closely with business and application development team to develop, define, and maintain different abstract layers of data models like conceptual data model, logical data model etc.
Work closely to define the data strategies and build data flows between source and target.
Work closely with Business Information Architects and other technical and business architects to enable the development of the Integrated Information Capability Roadmap.
Identify new information capabilities needed to support business capabilities of a given business domain.
Provides consulting and guidance regarding the usage of the enterprise integrated logical model for use in development.
