Responsible for providing full lifecycle Power BI administration (i.e. patches, updates, AD security, account management, capacity management, procedures documented) including the ability to work with data owners and report developers to support their needs in the best way possible

Knowledge and experience on how to grow and integrate Power BI services by designing and deploying workspaces, data models, app tiers, gateways, report services, dashboard support, Teams integration, and Mobile app deployment is preferred

Ability to configure data gateways for access to multiple data sources across the enterprise

Serve as subject matter, providing content to enablement resources for user training and self-service instruction

Strong business acumen, though leadership and communication skills required Minimum Requirements

Develop, modify, and enhance Microsoft Tabular-based data cubes• Demonstrable experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Power and Dynamics platforms

Highly motivated, self-directed, customer friendly, and responsible engineer

Candidates with additional Power Automate and Dynamics 365 experience on Azure Cloud valued

Microsoft Power Apps and Azure specific training or certifications also valued

Deployed Security Integrations with Enterprise LDAP, AD, Azure AD, SAML and other next-gen IdP (Identity Provider).

Experienced with CMD and PowerShell scripting for automation

Managing Power BI Premium Capacities (Cloud) and assigning Workspaces that include Workspace and Group Management

Experienced with Power BI for Compliance, Auditing, Data Privacy, Data Classification, Security and Controlling Access to Power BI

Row-Level Security, Restricting Sharing and Publishing, Restricting Export and Printing

Managing App Workspaces, Apps, and Content Packs.

Engage vendor to investigate and address software product related issues/defects

Provide 24x7 on-call rotation with pager duty

Basic Knowledge of and experience using the Microsoft suite of products.

Having knowledge in managing the extract refresh Scheduled tasks, security administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and general systems maintenance.

Experienced with Power BI Report Server and On-Prem Data Gateway Installation, Upgrades and Configurations

Experience using different OS Servers

Keep the services running with minimal disruption to our customers

Good communication and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team and willing to work under pressure

Basic understanding of various database platforms

Basic knowledge to investigate and resolve issues related to database client drivers

Practical experience of basic SQL skills
