JOB DETAIL

  • Own quality and outcome of all test phases in a Workday Implementation including but not limited to System Integration Testing, End to End Testing and Payroll testing
  • Test Strategy and Test Plan creation
  • Responsible for the creation of test scenarios and ensuring the appropriate level of test coverage
  • Responsible for creating testing templates
  • Responsible for the creation and maintenance test traceability ensuring requirements are met
  • Drives day-to-day execution of testing activities
  • Work with downstream systems and owners to ensure integrated tests are executed and completed successfully and on time
  • Prioritize testing requirements and identify and mitigate potential testing roadblocks
  • Chair defect/triage sessions and manage issue tracking (Jira)
  • Provide testing status and progress updates to PMO team
  • Assist with end user training sessions and communications
  • Provide guidance and best practices with regard to testing practices
  • Vendor Management as it relates to third party integrations
  • 5+ years experience working with Workday HCM
  • 5+ years experience of Workday testing lead experience creating test strategy and test plans
  • In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with vendors and business units
  • Experience implementing automated testing tools for Workday a plus
  • Global experience and ability to work across multiple timezones
