This role is part of a fast paced, multi-disciplinary team that operates at the intersection of customer service transformation, digital channel innovation and Artificial Intelligence (AI) driven automation. The team’s mission is to increase the availability of customer service in digital channels (chat, text messaging, social). The successful candidate will own the development and optimization of conversational user experiences (chatbots / automated dialog flows) in support of an enhanced customer engagement channel strategy.
Responsibilities
* Support United's Digital Customer Service vision and automation / chatbot roadmap
* Own development and deployment of chatbot conversation dialogs, working with cross-functional team including designers, engineers, testers, and product/project managers
* Identify opportunities for increased conversation automation and delivery of increasingly frictionless experiences
* Identify integration points with backend systems and partner with IT on service development and enhancement needs
* Analyze and rectify drivers of customer dis-satisfaction with chatbots
* Inform automation strategy and opportunities for improvement via competitive research, benchmarking, platform assessment
Requirements
* Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and/or Natural Language Processing (NLP)
* Familiarity with different chat / messaging platforms and AI tools and products
