The Quality Engineer will be responsible for empowering the technology platform at Apex Health Solutions. In this role, the Quality Engineer will play a critical role in managing the quality and rigor with which our platform solutions are developed. This role is mostly focused on the QA aspect, but someone that has interest (doesn’t need direct experience) in playing scrum master role as well would be great.
MOSTLY MANUAL QA with some automation a plus! HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE A PLUS
Essential Functions
- Develop test cases and testing strategy to assure the quality of the platforms to assure the quality of the platform components.
- Author comprehensive testing strategies inclusive of data focused platform components, analytics, and applications.
- Ensure tests meet both technical and customer-focused needs.
- Validate that test cases are written following industry best practices.
- Develop and execute tests in an Agile/SCRUM based software development model.
- Support Agile/SCRUM processes with scrum master responsibilities
- Craft a strategy to leverage tools for automation and efficienty of testing process
- Propose, define and implement processes and standards for test automation.
- Provide feedback to management regarding team performance, evaluations and required improvements.
Education
- Bachelor of Computer Science, MIS or equivalent degree
Experience
- 7+ years of quality engineering & analysis experience
- Familiarity with HL7 or other healthcare-related EDI protocols and both clinical and administrative healthcare data sources
- Experience operating in a cloud-based platform (Azure preferred)
- Knowledge of cloud-based data resources preferred (Azure Data Factory strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with working in a regulated industry
- Able to communicate and present complex issues with customers, partners, and senior leaders
