Key Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Work with the Product Owner, Stakeholders, and the Scrum Team to understand, define and implement solution requirements

·         Participate in Scrum meetings with other team members including sprint planning and estimating; backlog refinement; daily Scrum meetings; sprint              retrospectives and sprint reviews

·         Ensure your code is fully reviewed, unit tested and documented and delivered to agreed quality standards

 

 

Qualifications:

·         Use development tools and programming languages to build, test, implement, and support the development of windows services, & web software                 applications

·         Use software analyses & design tools such as UML, design patterns are essential

·         Use pragmatic and practical approaches to solving complex problems

·         Collaborate with other technology experts and develop the technology framework

·         Perform highly complex or specialized development activities involving coding in adherence to cybersecurity standards, code reviews, unit testing,              debugging, and design document creation and maintenance

·         Experience in writing code using Test Driven Development (TDD)

·         Work with support teams to help resolve customer issues.

 

 

Education and Experience:

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or a related field

·         Minimum 8 -12 years of relevant experience in a professional software development role

·         Full SDLC experience, including release to operations and production.

 

 

Expected Skills:

·         Technical proficiency in writing software using C# .NET Framework, C# .NET Core, SQL, and RESTful Web API

·         Strong knowledge and experience integrating the distributed components, involving network protocols

·         Demonstrated ability to articulate and implement Object-Oriented Design patterns and Design principles

·         Intermediate understanding of cross cutting concerns in technical architecture

·         Experience building server-side applications involving multiple components

·         Strong experience with relational databases and database interfaces such as ODBC, OleDB

·         Experience using debugging tools

·         Demonstrated ability to build automated unit/integration tests that proves the quality of code

·         Designed and developed frameworks considering security & performance aspects

·         Experience working with CI/CD Tools, and Processes in Azure DevOps

·         Experience working in Agile or SCRUM team environment

·         Exceptional communication skills, working with a broad range of people, including Product Owners, Testers & Product Support across sites

·         Able to coach and mentor less experienced colleagues

·         Positive approach to problem solving with a ‘can do’ attitude

·         Familiarity with server less architecture and micro service architecture

·         Cloud & containers experience is a plus
