What are the TOP must-have skills you’re looking for? Python (critical) PySpark, SQL Command line, Machine learning / data science course work and/or experience. Master’s degree in a quantitative field, must be strong Quantitively.

Overview of what your team does and why you’re looking to bring on a contractor: Develop data science, machine learning, and optimization algorithms for understanding (analysis) and solving complex problems through WBA business. Be able to activate (productionalize) the developed code, and share insights about the results with team members and business partners.

Is there any chance for extension or conversion to FTE? Yes, there is a chance for extension. FTE conversion depends on having a PhD.

What is the TOP Nice-to-Have skills? Experience analyzing large data sets in pyspark Understanding the devops processes Understanding of logging and debugging PhD in Physics, computational biology or chemistry, machine learning, or other quantitative/STEM field.

Do you need someone with a specific degree or certification? Master’s degree required.
