Assist Inventory and Warehouse teams to create Warehouse Sectioning Strategies to minimize material overflow and make efficient use of available storage space.
Should be able to work with cross functional teams, such as Material Management, Warehouse Management, Production Planning and Sales & Distribution.
Review stock data regularly for Root Cause Analysis of negative inventory, increase in material overflow and material shortages.
Ensure stable operation and efficient performance of SAP WM operations
Maintains standard material flow processes for each SLA classification
Plan & conduct workshops Key Users. Collect the finding, business requirement, perform fit-gap analysis and follows-up open topic in closed collaboration with project team
Document functional specifications based on business requirements and gap analysis.
Develop and execute proof of concepts to demonstrate feasibility of proposed solutions.
Support Technical teams in development of RICEFW objects for the specific business requirements not directly implemented with SAP standard applications.
Identify, document and perform functional testing to ensure completeness and accuracy of the solution.
Plan, prepares and executes Tests during realization phase of the project in close collaboration with the key users and project team
Support in close collaboration on Data Cleansing, Mapping & Migration, Technical Infrastructure & Interfaces
Work on Cutover-relevant action as defined in the Cutover-Plan
Demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to discuss and explain complex solutions.
Develop and maintain working relationship with a diverse group of business, functional and technical teams.
Demonstrate proven knowledge and understanding of Materials management, Warehouse management, Inventory management, and on time delivery (OTD) based solutions in one or more modules.
Contribute as a functional team member in consulting, designing and implementing these solutions.
Identify areas of process improvement.
Experience providing production support to the client business
Experience with ASAP and Agile methodologies.
Experience with ALM testing tools
Relevant SAP certifications preferred.
Hands on experience in WM processes includes configuration of Warehouse, Storage Bin, control cycle, PSA. Should have worked on Goods receipts, Transfer request, Transfer orders, Put away strategies, Picking Strategies, Kitting strategies, Packing strategies, Knowledge of different WM movements and its significance.
Extensive experience in SPRO configuration, MM/WM Master data, support, testing and documentation of SAP MM & WM
Strong knowledge and understanding of MRP, Stock transfer processes, RF Scanners/Call Button Integration
Should have experience/knowledge of Physical inventory, Cycle Counting, serialization, Batch management, HU Management.
In-depth understanding of JIT, Auto replenishment ,Interplant transfer, Third party logistics, Multi Warehouse management scenarios
Must have knowledge of WM processes and Integration of WM with MM, PP, and SD.
Understanding of MM- Procure to Pay cycle Includes PR, PO, Schedule lines, Goods receipt against the PO/Schedule lines, Release strategies, MM Invoicing MIRO, Invoice verification and accounting.
Understanding and experience of SAP integration with SAP/Non-SAP Production planning and MES (Manufacturing Excellence systems) for material availability scenarios
Design, configure, test and deploy SAP Warehouse Management solutions following defined quality processes and standards.
Must have prior experience of integration interfaces with SAP and Non-SAP systems.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
8+ years of experience in SAP consulting position with knowledge and experience ranging from business requirements to functional solutions.
Proven ability to configure SAP solutions and experience with planning and participating in SAP blueprinting and design discussions.
At least 2 full life cycle implementation experience of SAP Production Planning and Detailed scheduling process.
Experience providing production support to the client business.
