JOB DETAIL

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a similar field.
  • Demonstrable experience as a DataStage developer and basic understanding of datastage administration
  • Exposure to cloud pak for data and IBM DataStage certification or similar.
  • Experience in datastage upgrade and migration to cloud pak for data
  • Monitoring jobs and identifying bottlenecks in the data processing pipeline.
  • Testing and troubleshooting problems in system designs and processes.
  • Improving existing ETL processes for the business.
  • Providing support to customers about issues relating to the storage, handling, and access of data.
  • OnSite resource required due to frequent interaction with other engineering, operations and development teams.
  • Support and troubleshoot incidents/problems, optimizing performance during datastage migration to cloud pak for data
  • Provide technical expertise and development support for the ETL migration team.
  • Good understanding of ETL Best Practices in design and implementation.
