Ability to understand/analyze requirements – review mapping documents, and based on the mapping and ticket details profile the data to make recommendations. Determine if it’s an issue with the data source or code, etc.
SQL, should be able to write basic queries from scratch, joins with multiple tables, etc.
5+ years of Data Analysis experience (Healthcare Data highly preferred)
Gather/validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team.
Good understanding of the ETL process and Data Warehousing concepts.
Perform data analysis, using in-depth knowledge of databases and healthcare data.
Write complex SQL scripts to perform Data Analysis, create source to target mapping, understand data transformation requirements and write specifications for the rules.
Work closely with the business users to discuss data analysis results, review and discuss any issues
Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
