BI Engineer to be part of the team enabling the journey from On-Premises to Microsoft Azure in the areas of architecture, development security, operations, integration, migration, and managed services. As a BI Engineer, you will architect, build, and deploy BI solutions for highly complex distributed software systems in Microsoft Azure. Training team members on the technologies and share knowledge on best practices. Documenting the design and processes after development.
- 5+ years of professional IT experience in architecting, designing, developing Business Intelligence solutions.
- Hands on experience in implementing Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate & Desktop RPA and Power BI/Azure BI solutions
- Design and develop business intelligence dashboards, analytical reports and data visualizations using power BI and providing access to different user groups
- Strong knowledge on Data Bricks, Common Data Model (CDM), Common Data Services (CDS) and Power BI Data Flows & Power BI Data Sets.
- Expertise in managing data privacy and security in Power BI/ SQL DB.
- Highly experienced in Data Quality Testing, data governance and Identifying and resolving Data anomalies in complex Data Integration systems.
- Team builder with strong, analytical & interpersonal skills with good knowledge in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Proficient in technical writing.
- Experience in building complex dashboards/reports in tableau and admin functionalities of tableau server.
- Experience with developing/administration/of SharePoint features and O365 components (SPO, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Flow (Automate))
- Experience in Agile software development and SCRUM methodology.
- Strong understanding of Cloud concepts – IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
- Serve as expert on a specific firm software application and lead the long-term planning of the application throughout the software life cycle.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with key business liaisons representing application users. Develop a deep understanding of business needs, future challenges and strategies and determine how software applications can facilitate their business operations or needs.
- Provide subject matter expertise on software development methodologies, tools, system architecture, usage and functionality.
