The Senior Developer is responsible for supporting and creating .Net applications, including current intranet, SharePoint development, data sources, APIs, and database integrations. The Senior Developer must be detail-oriented, experienced in building quality solutions and have good communication skills.
- Works with customers to scope out new application requirements;
- Supports and develops features and backend functionality for the intranet and various departmental web applications;
- Designs, creates and supports web parts on the Firm's intranet;
- Supports production systems, reviews and discusses daily tasks as they come up;
- Participates in code review and follows predetermined security requirements and code standards;
- Performs QA/UAT and production deployments for multiple applications;
- Translates use cases into functional applications or features;
- Maintains and improves data integrity;
- Designs, builds and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable code;
- Identifies bottlenecks and bugs, and improves app performance; and
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems preferred;
- 4+ years working in the law firm environment, preferred;
- Strong knowledge of .Net 4.5 and/or .Net Core and MVC and WebAPI;
- Comfortable with UI/UX design, AngularJS, jQuery or Telerik Kendo UI;
- Familiar with .Net Excel and Word template libraries such as Aspose.Net;
- Comfortable with SQL, data management, and Microsoft SQL Server tools;
- Familiar with Microsoft SharePoint 2016 or later, Microsoft 365 cloud services;
- Ability to write well organized object oriented and reusable code;
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps Server, Continuous Integration and Delivery;
- Familiarity with IIS administration;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong knowledge of API and other integration methods;
- Excellent judgment and ability to deal discreetly with confidential information;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate several activities at one time;
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take and follow instructions;
- Flexibility to work additional hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, when needed.
