Roles and Responsibilities
- Re-Design and Re-Write legacy banking application into Cloud Native Micro Services.
- This is an individual contributor with complete hands-on coding role.
- You will be responsible for development of banking product from scratch till production.
- Agile methodology will be followed throughout the product development life cycle.
- You will be part of one of the scrum team and will deliver features every 2 weeks to production.
- Perform high quality software analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance for the clients core technology platform
- Work with Product owners, Architects and X-Vertical teams to analyze requirements.
- Implement the features based on the design.
Must Have:
- Hard Core Product Development Experience.
- Good understanding of object oriented programming and design principles.
- Knowledge of design patterns.
- Knowledge of designing automation test suite using BDD and Cucumbers.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem solving skills.
- Expert in JEE/ Java programming/Hibernate/Sprint boot / Microservices
- Competent in design/implementation for reliability, availability, scalability and performance
- Competent in software engineering tools and best practices
- Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD)
- Estimate engineering effort; plan implementation, and rollout system changes.
- Exhibit creativity and resourcefulness at problem solving while collaborating and working effectively with best in class designers, engineers of different technical backgrounds, architects and product managers.
- Expert in data structures and algorithms.
- Aware of Agile methodology of Software Development Life Cycle.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Technology Stack: Java, Spring Boot, Java 8, Micro Services, REST API, Spring Cloud.
- Experience in RESTful API, Maven/Git/Continuous integration
- Knowledge of AWS, KAFKA, Service Mesh, Reactive Java, No-SQL.
- Knowledge of TDD is a plus
- Experience developing data-driven applications using an industry standard RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), including strong data architecture and SQL development skills
- Experience in Unix based development environment (Unix, Shell, Perl, Python) is a plus
- Rich experience in Java8 or core java programming.
- Competent in software engineering tools and best practices
- Willing to work in regular and UK -shift
