Knowledge & Experience:
- Over all 10+ years of experience in agile working methodologies with 4+ years (recent) in Banking Domain. Regional experience useful but not Mandatory.
- Experience in the end-to-end delivery of projects including leading IT Transformation related initiatives within the Banking industry
- Responsible for facilitating daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo and retrospective meetings.
- Possesses conflict resolution, does conversation by focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty and respect.
- Needs to forecast the numbers of deliverables possible in an iteration, which is based on evidence and reliable source.
- Needs to be expert in estimation and planning. He knows how to create useful, reliable and practical plans for software development projects.
- Should be a good coach in Agile practices. S/he can coach individuals and interactions over processes and tools.
- Help team or individual to clarify goals and actions to achieve them.
- Ability to shield his team from outside distractions and interferences.
- Ability to ensure the correct use of scrum process
- Ability to track and remove impediments.
- Coaches multiple scrum masters
- Ability to work on supporting the solution of delivery teams and organization impediments
- Increases visibility of OKRs and KPIs across interdependent teams
- Ability to support quarterly planning across different teams
- Strong coordination skills and relationship management is must. Projects will involve enterprise wide implementation where coordination with bank wide business groups will be required.
- Prior experience of both functional and technical understandings of banking domain is must.
- Experience in leading Large initiatives within Bank
- Strong team player who can lead the activities to the logical closure.
- Proven track record of delivering projects as per agreed upon project parameters.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholders including business heads, functional heads and other senior managers
- Managing multi-location, multi-Vendor, distributed Teams including task allocation, monitoring, effective communication
- Significant experience in managing external vendors
- Significant experience in Banking and Financial Services exposure with good understanding of key banking systems.
- Familiarity with project performance monitoring principles and metrics.
- Good understanding of internationally accepted Project Management Principles, Methodologies and Practices
