•             Analyzing and translating business requirements into long term solution data models

•             Evaluating existing data systems to create an enterprise data model for our Consumer business

•             Working with our product owners to create conceptual and logical data models

•             Implementing data strategies and converting logical models into physical data models

•             Updating/Optimizing existing data models within our Consumer business

•             Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that can assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader

•             Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems

•             Participate in POC to help define the components for the Big Data platform

Qualifications for Data Modeler

•             5+ years academic or industry experience – Financial Services, Capital Markets, Banking

•             Strong data modeling skills – physical and relational data modeling

•             Knowledge in metadata management and related tools, similar to Erwin, ER Studio, PowerDesigner, MySQL Workbench, SQL DBM, draw.io, Lucidchart

•             Experience working with large and disparate datasets

•             Experience supporting data scientists & analytical teams helping them to understand the data landscape is a definite plus.

•             Experience with modeling in any relational and/or big data environments

•             Excellent communication and presentation skills
