Defines product user experience from workflows to page layouts to individual interaction points.

 

 

 

Creates and documents complex designs and patterns across products or features based on business needs and user research (Manages the Design Pattern Library).

Applies designs and interaction patterns to KP.org features and architectures in conjunction with development teams.

 

Contributes to new patterns, designs, guidelines and standards.

 

 

 

 

 

Involves interpreting and analyzing established concepts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Exercises judgment to make decisions for less defined issues and identifies and selects methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Accountable for remediation of key issues affecting UX work.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

• 5+ years of frontend development experience

• 2+ years building components for large-scale design systems

• Experience with build, bundling, and package management/publishing tools (e.g. Webpack, Gulp, NPM)

• Experience with testing, including accessibility, performance, and unit testing

• Experience with CSS architecture principles (e.g. CSS-in-JS)

• Knowledge of modern, emerging web and mobile UI patterns and design tools

• Experience with advanced features of JavaScript and CSS, including frameworks (React and Angular) and preprocessors (Sass)

• Experience with WCAG Accessibility Standards and experience building inclusive and accessible components
