Must-have skills: Oracle database, Java/J2EE, Java REST API, Java Spring stack- Spring core, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, Spring JPA/Hibernate, and MyEclipse or Eclipse.

• Experience with Oracle database and query performance tuning to support Java API performance (5+ years);

• Experience with Java/J2EE (7+ years);

• Experience with Java REST API and web services development (4+ years);

• Experience with Java Spring stack- Spring core, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, Spring JPA/Hibernate, and MyEclipse or Eclipse (4+ years);

• Experience using Spring Security modules and methodologies (2+ years);

• Experience with Angular, XML, HTML and CSS (5+ years);

• Experience with project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects (5+ years);

• Experience using 3-tiered logical/physical architected applications (4+ years);

• Experience with Java MyBatis database framework (preferred);

• Experience with Tomcat webserver setup operation and support (preferred);

• Experience using Jenkins, Maven, ANT (1+ year, preferred);

• Bachelor's degree in one of the computer science fields or in management information systems, or 4 years of work experience in IT, systems analysis, management analysis, program planning, program research, or program evaluation

• Develop n-Tier JAVA web applications using Java/J2EE, Angular, XML, HTML, CSS and MyEclipse or Eclipse;

• Design database objects including necessary stored procedures in Oracle database and query performance tuning to support Java API performance;

• Work within a team during development of the application solutions;

• Review common requirements and build any controls that may span modules;

• Perform unit and system testing to ensure it conforms to the solution’s detailed requirement specifications;

• Update documentation as needed;

• Mentor Department staff in in Java Spring stack- Spring core, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring MVC, Spring JPA/Hibernate and Spring Security modules and methodologies;

• Provide systems architecture and design for Java development;

• Perform applications code development to include, but not limited to, the following:

  a) Ensuring the system meets all requirements identified by the Department’s Contract Manager including requirements for system performance;

  b) Documenting business and technical requirements and submitting them for approval;

  c) Developing tests case and test scripts to ensure the system meets requirements;

  d) Ensuring testing has been conducted and completed in accordance with the SFD requirements;

  e) Ensuring custom software deliverables have been operating in production without any material deficiency for ten (10) days of full production with all functionality;

• Perform other related tasks assigned by the Technical Manager.
