Background in Linux/Unix or Windows Administration & IT Operations required
Working experience in coding & scripting with a reusable object-oriented approach
Working experience in Git; inclusive of branching, versioning, access management & pipeline configuration/execution
Working experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, HashiCorp, Gitlab CI, Nexus or an equivalent
Experience with test automation tools for infrastructure provisioning validation
Testing experience covering implemented designs & system integrity leveraging automated unit testing patterns
Experience with Docker & Kubernetes preferred
Working experience with managing & configuring cloud services; AWS preferred
Knowledge of ELK, Stackdriver or similar log aggregation equivalent
Knowledge of Prometheus/Grafana, Elastic or similar monitoring equivalent
Ability to brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improvement development delivery
Ability to take work direction with some oversight of tasks
Consult with peers or cross team for feedback during testing stages
Maintain and monitor configuration standards
Assist in preparation of manuals for training workers in use of new procedures or equipment, according to organizational policy
Assist with the testing of new or upgrades of the operating systems and system administrative software prior to implementing into the test and production environments
Perform basic administrative functions under the direction of a senior engineer
