Database Administration responsibilities include:
- Administration and troubleshooting of DB2 databases
- Database installation, build and configuration
- Perform database rolling patch/version upgrade with minimum downtime
- Backup and restoration procerdures. Point-in time recovery of database and tablespaces
- Perform SQL and Database performance tuning and maintenance
- Execute database deployment and change management
- Experience working on AWS cloud and storage S3 buckets
- More than 7 years of experience in Database administration
- Solid understanding of Database technology – DB2 UDB Distributed databases.
- Extensive Database performance tuning experience
- Good understanding of Linux/cloud platform
- Experience implementing, supporting and auditing database security
