•             Responsible for the documentation of all Talend Data Integration jobs and processes

 

•             Maintain and enhance existing ETL jobs

 

•             Design, develop, validate, and deploy ETL processes with the Talend Data Integration tools

 

•             Administer the Talend environments, including fix packs, upgrades, and patching support

 

•             Systematically review existing processes with the vision to introducing new or improved processes that lead to increased efficiency and accuracy in reporting and data analysis; and develop and lead projects to improve the quality and cost-effectiveness of data management

 

•             Work productively with vendors and team members on solution design, issue resolution, quality assurance and hand-off to development

 

•             Respond to ad hoc data requests for operational reports, including generating complex queries and exports, and performing updates, enhancements, and fixes for existing systems

 

•             Effectively leverage keen troubleshooting skills to track job successes and remediate issues with data

 

•             Work with other teams within an organization such as Quality Assurance, Engagement Management, Operations and Support

 

•             Ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output

 

Requirements

 

•             BA/BS in Computer Science or related concentration or equivalent work experience

 

•             5+ years of software development, data integration development, with similar tools

 

•             3+ years' experience in Talend Data Integration

 

•             Proven experience in SQL Server Database Development

•             SQL Server 2008/2012/2014 (T-SQL, database design and optimization)

 

•             Experience with Webservices (SOAP/REST)
