- Understanding Business needs and converting them into technical specs
- Developing SQL Stored procedures used across many systems
- Coordinating with other offshore leads to ensure all deadlines are met
- Working with a team as a process-oriented person and adhere to the organization’s product development standards
- Centralizing Data Service Requests
- Advising on the Database Design for Optimized Data Access
- Working with other development groups to understand/gain access to data
- Expertise in developing SQL Stored Procedures and SQL databases
- Expertise in Database design
- Strong knowledge of Informatica and other ETL processes
- Strong data analysis and data quality assessment skills
- Excellent communication and written skills and willingness to work across time zones
- Strong SQL skills and a thorough understanding of database constructs
- Strong understanding of SDLC and proven track record of operational efficiency
- Experience with project management software and developing/implementing best practices
- Informatica background
- 6+ years of experience in development
- Experience with performance trouble shooting and remediation
- Ability to develop and follow change management processes for consistent and maintainable versions
- Exposure to the financial services industry is a Must, FA (Financial Advisor) Compensation a big plus
