JOB DETAIL

·         Relevant experience with development, validation, or debug of embedded software

·         Experience with GIT

·         Experience with Yocto

·         Expert with Linux OS, drivers, kernel and C/C++

·         Solid debugging skills, ability to replicate and root cause problems running complex software stacks

·         Ability to pick up new code, understand it, and modify/enhance it

·         Ability to work in a fast-paced, and interruption-driven environment

·         Ability to support customers on a variety of disparate issues at the same time

·         Ability to work well with a geographically dispersed team.

·         Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills

·         Experience in broadband network communications

·         Knowledge of network protocols and stacks such as TCP, UDP, SNMP, IPv6, Gateway, L2 Switch, VLANs, etc.

·         Knowledge of Comcast RDK

·         Knowledge of Cable related technologies such as DOCSIS

·         Experience in performance profiling and hotspots analysis

·         Experience with bootloaders and board support packages.

 

·         Helping customers integrate our silicon and software offerings into their products.

·         Debugging/Root Cause analysis of build/networking/streaming/application/integration issues with drivers and complex software stacks

·         Working directly with customers on reproducing/resolving bugs and integration related issues.

·         Creating and performing high level acceptance testing on software releases before shipping to service providers, OEMs and ISVs.

·         Contributing to Client SW and HW product development by providing tech feedback to Client product teams.

·         Provide technical training, consultation, and hands-on assistance to customers in areas of architecture, technologies, code development, and integration of key features.
