- The Business Objects Developer is responsible for technical development and support of complex reports using Business Objects suite, creating custom BO Universes and reports and deploying through an approved publishing mechanism.
- Strong Business Objects 4.x (BO) Development and Reporting experience.
- Design and develop complex reports using SAP Business Object XI R3, 4.X tools like Web Intelligence, Rich client.
- The candidate must be able to understand and report from OLAP cubes and dimensional data models.
- 5+ years’ experience in BO report delivery and Universe
- Demonstrated experience with Business Objects 4.x
- Experience with BO Supervisor, Designer, InfoView, WebIntelligence, Desktop Intelligence, Broadcast Agent.
- Understanding of BOxi functionality - index awareness, derived tables.
- Experience of security hierarchy implementations in conjunction with BO.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data marts, relational and dimensional data modeling, star schema design, fact and dimension tables.
- Demonstrated understanding of ETL processes, data mapping, DTS, Informatica.
- Extensive experience in data definitions and mapping. Must have hands on ability to design and build a data mart, business objects universe, and reports.
- Experience with large datasets
