JOB DETAIL

RTE (Release Train Engineer):

Is responsible for ensuring that the agile release train (the team of agile teams) work well together and follow the SAFe processes. RTE is a person who facilitates program-level support to the ART (Agile Release Train) and to make sure the product development goes smoothly

Experience required

  • 5+ years of experience as RTE, Scrum Master, Managed multiple Scrum Teams.
  • 5+ years of program management experience.
  • 5+ years strong experience in Insurance / BFS / HC / Retail / Media & Communication.
  • Experience of working within an agile, continuous integration environment
  • Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals
  • Work closely with the scrum teams throughout the development process
  • Candidate should be Certified Scrum Master/PSM/SAFe Agilist

Roles Expectations:

  • Strong knowledge of Agile principles and process and proven RTE experience
  • Managing and optimizing flow of value through the Agile Release Train using tools such as information radiators, and Program and Solution Kanban
  • Facilitate the PI planning event.
  • Summarize Team PIs into Program PI Objectives and publish them for transparency and visibility
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Successful track record of developing products within deadlines
  • Work within project planning constraints, communicate any identified project risks and issues to the business and IT stakeholders accordingly and coordinate the change control process through JIRA
  • Bring a creative approach to senior stakeholders / leadership communications and demos (videos, bringing personas to life, etc.)
  • Coach and assist with planning, organization, and sequencing to prepare work ahead of PI’s
  • Issue Resolution: Escalate impediments, remove team roadblocks, manage risks & dependencies.
  • Provide Feedback: Team and leadership coaching and actionable feedback on Agile practices, mindset and maturity.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills. Should be capable of thinking on their feet and try to quickly analyze a situation and organize the team around the solution
  • Facilitate larger group meeting and presenting in front of a senior management team
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Resolve defects and other performance problems discovered in testing.
