Job Description:

 

Must-have skills: 5 years of experience in UI and UX, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Sketch, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, InVision, Bootstrap, HTML5/XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks and jQuery.
  
Requirements:

·        5 years of experience in UI (user interface) and UX (user experience) design for desktop and mobile web applications.

·        . 5 years of experience in responsive design and grid principles.

·        5 years of experience in typography, ideation, layout/concept design and prototyping.

·        5 years of experience in at least two of the following industry tools: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Sketch, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, InVision.

·        5 years of experience in SEO focused web design to improve search engines ranking of web pages.

·        5 years of experience in UI/UX design using Bootstrap, HTML5/XHTML, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks and jQuery.

·        5 years of experience in logo designing and animation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

·        Produce and submit application code to meet user defined requirements as directed by the Department. Contractor will incorporate comments into the application code to explain the code’s resulting product.

·         Provide version control of application code as directed by the Department. Use the Azure Source Control software application for this task to coordinate the workflow with others.

·        Check-out code, modify it, check it back in as directed by the Department.

·        Make changes and/or redesign the application as requirements for business practice changes.

·        Upon completion of Task 6.1.4. turn the new or modified application over to the Department forinspection and approval.

·        Facilitate user acceptance testing with the business program staff on system requirements as directed by the Department.

·        Deploy products to the development server and notify the Department’s website manager it is ready for review. Upon approval of the Department’s website manager, the product will be deployed to the production server.

·        Participate in meetings to provide suggestions for improvements and update others about theprogress on service tasks as directed by the Department.

·        Provide a written weekly status report as directed by the Department.
