Skills Needed:
- Strong understanding of development systems, especially Git and Jenkins (9+ Years)
- Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GoCD, Harness.io, etc.)
- Working knowledge of build tools (Maven, Gradle, etc.)
- Experience in container orchestration systems (e.g. Kubernetes)
- Proficient in a major programming language (e.g. Python, Java)
- Experience in Linux system administration
- Experience with infrastructure automation with Chef and Terraform
- Data systems experience with technologies like ElasticSearch, Kafka, MySQL preferred
- Observability, Monitoring and Metrics (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana)
Tasks:
- Develop and Automate provisioning and configuration solutions for a variety of infrastructure
- Ensure reliability and efficiency of all infrastructure related to application performance
- Create quantifiable failure and availability by utilizing Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs)
- Solve problems and think critically on a daily-basis, often in time sensitive circumstances
- As a Release Engineer, you will be expected to:
- effectively operate tools for code deployments, version control, and automated testing.
- ensure reliability and efficiency of all infrastructure related to testing, packaging, and deployments.
