As a Senior Android Developer, this individual will be responsible for creating and improving their client’s mobile app experience. Utilizing knowledge of Core Bluetooth, this individual will work directly with a team of Electrical Engineers to define and implement communication protocols. Working collaboratively with UX, QA and Product Management, the person hired into this role will prototype, test, and build the app interface to make users more productive.

 

JD:

 

 

? Experience designing and developing native Android apps.

 

? 3 required years of native mobile application development experience in a professional environment

 

? Must have a minimum of one published app in App Store or Google Play Store

 

? Experience in an object-oriented design methodology environment

 

? Experience working in an Agile development experience (Scrum or Kanban).

 

? Experience working cross-functionally.

 

 

Experience with following Android technologies:

 

? Object Oriented design

 

? MVVM

 

? Android activity lifecycle

 

? Kotlin

 

? Java (to support our legacy code)

 

? SQLite, Room, Android Architecture Library, Paging Library

 

? Consuming REST APIs and HTTP services

 

? Retrofit, OKHttp

 

? Material Design Framework a plus

 

? Coroutines, Reactive Programming a plus
