Working with QA team members and leadership, develop a road map for test automation
Develop new tests and tools for our Revenue Cycle EMR, Lab, Research, and Enterprise applications for frontend, backend APIs and services
Identify test automation opportunities from reviewing manual test cases.
Work with the business team and development teams to understand how new features should be tested, and then engage them in contributing automated tests.
Work with engineers to define and implement mechanisms to inject testing earlier into the software development process.
Identify and drive the adoption of best practices in code health, testing, testability, and maintainability. You should know about clean code and the test pyramid, and champion these concepts.
Analyze complex software systems and collaborate with others to improve the overall design, testability and quality.
Configure automated tests to execute reliably and efficiently.
Track and communicate test results in a timely, effective, and automated manner.
As a team player, the candidate may be called upon to do paperwork, manual testing, or responsibilities outside the traditional Test Automation Engineer.
Requirements:
Hands on software quality assurance testing experience
Familiar with test automation and tools utilized in the industry such as UFT and Selenium
Development experience with C#, VB.net or Java
Relevant work experience in software development and/or test automation
Experience with SQL
Experience with Application Load and Performance testing
