Must Haves: AWS and SQL Server exp, Scripting/Coding inPython or related language, some SQL Server dba exposure ideally.

You will be developing IaaS solutions in a highly availableOLTP and business database services in AWS EC2 environment. This will includeopportunities to contribute to developing automation to deploy and maintainMSSQL ain a DBaaS environment

SpecificSkills or Other Requirements: 
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science,Engineering, or related field of study

5 years of experience required.
* AWS management and migrations services forMS-SQL systems
* Experience with AWS as well as containertechnologies, CFN, SSM, etc...
* Core database administration competenciesincluding high-availability, recoverability (backup estore), installation andconfiguration, security, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
* Experience with programming languages: Haveproficiency with Python or other object-oriented programming languages such asJAVA, etc.
* Scripting on Windows, specifically, PowerShellfor Windows environments.
* Supporting relational databases in anenterprise-level production environment.
* Experience should also include DevOPsframework, including participation in Agile/Scrum development process withtwo-week sprint deployments.
* Must have excellent verbal and communicationskills

You will work with Senior Database engineers to provide orimprove:
Duties:
* Development and optimization tuning for autocreation and rotation of MSSQL database resources and infrastructure.
* Provide analysis for High Impact incidentsrelating to DBaaS withCorrective Action recommendations.
* Perform POC analysis and documentation forcomplex business critical database deployment processes.
* Develop processes to eliminate monthlyvulnerability patching for Windows and SQL based systems by deploying net newinfrastructure.
* Automation development and implementation ofMS SQL management processes.
* Develop and implement cloud infrastructuresolution as part of our database product offerings.
* Develop database as a service and automation for MS SQL with .NET andPowershell, Python, etc.
* Leverage the latest and greatest AWS Cloudtechnologies as you build and innovate
* Embrace end-to-end ownership and DevOpspractices: design, code, test, deploy and monitor your solutions in providingdirect value to the Database Team.
