1. Proving BRD assessment / evaluation / feedback (if applicable)

2. Understanding of High level solution / design (big picture, design for future)

3. Performing Analysis of the requirements and do root cause analysis if issues are identified

4. Working with business stakeholders, Business Systems Analysts and Developers to ensure quality delivery of software.

5. Following quality management best practices and processes to bring consistency and completeness to integration service testing

6. Designing, developing and implementing comprehensive QA test plans and test cases, tools and infrastructure for assigned areas

7. Designing, developing, automating, monitoring and maintaining data quality assurance processes that transfer data to and from internal and external locations.

8. Executing test scenarios in Datawarehouse centric application, Providing Backend testing using SQL

9. Executing Front end testing and writing simple Unix scripting commands

10. Providing assistance to the team in Test Estimation & Test Planning

11. Analyzing and evaluating data sources, data volume, and business rules.

12. Validating in PLT / PROD

13. Attending all the project meetings

14. Getting involved in the intake of the requirements to ensure that the requirements are feasible given the company’s technology stack

15. Finding Gaps are highlighted and filled if possible

16. Troubleshooting issues when they arise. In situations where old Defects ts are being analyzed

17. Working collaboratively with Business, Development and system analyst team in shift left mode

 

Requirements:

Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience with the following:

1. Involved in testing in the following areas:

a. Data Warehousing and ETL

b. Data Marts

c. Data Profiling

2. Understanding Dimensional Databases and Data Marts (includes physical and logical models)

3. Writing complex SQL and stored procedures (DB2 preferred); translating specifications and rules into SQL

4. Interpreting and writing source to target mappings (ETL transformation rules)

5. SME knowledge on project healthcare and Datawarehouse

6. Maintaining and interpreting data lineages

7. Ability to speak to the various aspect of the SDLC

8. working knowledge in SAFe agile

9. Ability to provide time estimations for Test activities for a project based on the design

10. Ability to work closely with Development, Business, system analyst and UAT teams to provide them the required support

11. Ability to perform and provide a detailed impact analysis for a given a defect and provide estimates

12. Able to lead testers and possibly provide feedback on multiple projects

13. Working knowledge in Unix scripting basics

Nice to have:

a. Experience with working on Automation

b. Experience working with PHI & PII and sensitive data

c. Knowledge about ETL tools (preferably Ab Initio)

d. Knowledge about other Ab Initio tools like Query>IT, MDH, BRE etc.

e. Knowledge about business intelligence / analytics / tool experience – Cognos/Tableau

f. Knowledge about medical and Rx claims processing, healthcare enrollments and providers

g. Knowledge and understanding of security standards

Qualification:

Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar technologies

Must Have: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar technologies
