JOB DETAIL

Experienced in bank operations and interaction systems and processes (teller, portal, Cash)
The main duties of the solutions analyst are:
1. Talk to stakeholders and develop a functional requirements specification
2. Analyze and map all relevant business processes and IT infrastructure
3. Research any rules that might affect solution delivery, such as compliance, data governance, or organizational mandates.
4. Make recommendations for solutions that deliver organizational goals
5. Assist in the design, development, and testing of solutions
6. Oversee QA and deployment
7. Report to stakeholders and senior IT leaders throughout the project lifecycle

 

Expectations:
• Finding the best tech solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems.
• Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of business process/problems
• Defining features, transition phases, and solution requirements.
• Providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.
• Contribute to the Transformation Management Office efforts to identify and remediate issues or challenges to the business transformation initiatives that will modernize and enhance the bank’s products, capabilities, and operations.
• Heavy emphasis on creating a more streamlined, consistent approach across all areas of the business
• Works with Business Transformation to identify simplification opportunities;
• Lead, facilitate, and direct the planning, coordination, and triaging of issues, decisions and gaps in capability for the cross initiative or product implementation projects
• Identifies best practices, issues, obstacles, and inefficiencies in assigned business line. Analyzes business systems, processes, and controls to ensure efficient and pvalue based functions
• Establishes clear and concise processes and procedures. Interacts with senior management and key stakeholders to determine segment needs and develop flexible solutions that support those needs within the segment
• Propose and design process efficiencies and support automation of business processes/functions.
• Identify gaps and recommend process improvements to various business operations
• Conduct and review root cause analysis to understand why an issue occurred and how the business can enhance their process to appropriate mitigate/resolve
• Ensure remediation plan milestones, timelines, and deadlines are met.
• Work with teams across the bank to identify concerns or issues, highlight deficiencies and/or gaps, and communicate/escalate appropriately across departments and up to senior management
• Support management in delivering on strategic corporate initiatives

 

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Management, Finance, or MIS/IT
• 5-7+ years of experience within financial services, preferably in Commercial or Consumer lending, Capital Markets, Finance/Accounting
• 3-5+ years of experience in product management, product analysis, project delivery, project management, leadership, and/or executing strategy within a business
• Emphasizes the accuracy and completeness of work
• Strong ability to see the big picture, detect potential obstacles early, and lead collaborative exercises with multiple stakeholders to develop solutions and gain consensus
• Must have proven ability to collaborate and be creative in a group setting.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and committed deadlines.
• Must be able to learn quickly and juggle multiple tasks; strong organizational skills
• Must have superior communication, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills with exceptional emotional intelligence.
• Must be bold, ask questions, and seek opinions and guidance.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills; not just identify areas of improvement, but offer ideas
