Android Developer
- Android Developer with 6+ years of experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Android applications in the Cruiseline business.
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
- Advanced Java and Kotlin skills.
- Sound knowledge of code architectures.
- Ability to own the technical road-map for systems/components owned by him/her.
- Ability to design pixel sharp design and custom widgets as per requirements.
- Worked on libraries such as Fresco, Retrofit, Moshi.
- Is comfortable building beautiful cross-platform experiences.
- Is excited by the potential of technology to transform the lives of small businesses around the country.
- Keen to write scalable, optimized and bug-free code.
- Proven experience of test-driven development
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Git/TFS
- Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines
