JOB DETAIL
Job Responsibilities:
Manage relationship and deliverables for the asset management business in the capacity of a senior domain expert, technology project manager and business analyst
Analyze gaps in trading workflows, data analytics and other business processes and recommend solutions for the same
Enable transition of the asset management business to the next level through a partnership with multiple groups including technology, front office, middle office, compliance, risk, external vendors
Lead and execute process automation programs through robotic as well as other mechanisms
Play the role of an advisor and implementer for strategic projects driven by industry developments, firm internal strategy and risk mitigation requirements
Manage on a day-to-day basis a team of developers, testers and data scientists across geographies ensuring work items are prioritized and delivered with quality
Have a proactive approach and use innovation to solve loosely defined or ambiguous problems
Skills:
Sound asset management business/domain knowledge, with an understanding of various asset classes, trading processes, operational activities and analytical requirements
Experienced in projects relating to asset management data (portfolios, securities, positions, trades, performance, financials) analysis, business intelligence generation and visualization/reporting
Familiarity with one or more data storage/processing, business intelligence and robotic automation tools – SQL/NoSQL, Qliksense, Tableau, Python, R, Excel, BluePrism
Excellent relationship management with various business and technology counterparts while acting decisively to ensure incremental progress
Ability and willingness to communicate with, manage, motivate and train team members with diverse technical skill-sets and experience levels
