Title: DBA (DB Administrator)
Location: Alpharetta, GA (remote)

Job Description:
The primary objective of the DBA is to development and maintenance of data base of one or more products as well as manage technical risks throughout the project.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate in the gathering and reviewing of business requirements and translating these into functional/technical designs.
- Easily recognizes system deficiencies and implements effective solutions
- Researches technical solutions to business problems
- Follow agile best practices and maintain/improve work of the agile team.
- Follow technology trends and guide team to learn and adopt new technologies
WORK EXPERIENCE:
- 5-8 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration preferably on 12c
- AWS RDS experience is preferred for Oracle Engine (Snapshot, Multi-AZ, Option Group, Parameter Group)
- Experience in Oracle Active Data Guard, Failover/Failback techniques
- Experience in using Oracle ASM Grid 12c
- Experience in Database performance tuning and monitoring using OEM 12c/13c
- Experience in Database rolling patches, cloning
- Experience in using AWS RDS for backup and recovery (RDS Snapshot)
