Job Description  :

As a Contractor - Senior Database Engineer, you will be working as part of a Software development team to analyze, design, develop, test, document, and deploy backend databases and associated software.

Responsibilities :

• Design and deploy databases, working closely with system designers and developers
• Ability to understand software architecture and schema design with respect to databases and recommend approaches to the software development team
• Analyze and resolve database performance related issues
• Recommend and implement mechanism to regularly upgrade and patch databases and replication software
• Provide production support to issues escalated to the engineering team
• Recommend and deploy solutions to provide data protection and integrity
