Strong knowledge in VMware hard-core skills with Windows/Linux background, AWS exposure.
Strong background in Linux Administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, etc.)
Working knowledge of scripting: UNIX shell, PowerShell, etc.
Responsible for developing and executing deployment packages for deploying, automating, monitoring and supporting high-availability Linux-based servers and applications in cloud/VM hosted environments.
Possess Windows Administration experience.
Have Experience in designing, deploying, or operating storage infrastructure in an AWS cloud environment & on premises.
Work collaboratively with operations and engineering in new system design, process improvement, and resolving complex technical problems.
Perform backup, file replications and script management for servers.
Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications & equipment.
Own problem resolution, facilitate discussions and provide status updates during critical situation outages.
Troubleshooting and resolution of Data Center infrastructure problems.
Participate in problem management and root cause analysis, Update and maintain Data Center processes, change management, daily operations, outage and emergency processes
Knowledge in Dev Ops/CICD tools: Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, Bamboo etc.
The candidate should be okay for occasional after-hours, weekend support/maintenance activity for Lab/Prod environments
Possess good knowledge and understanding of Networking concepts
Possess experience in 'Monitoring tools' such as Nagios, SCOM, Manage Engine etc.
