Sr. Software Engineer (Python) – DevOps (AWS) for our Agricultural client in Saint Louis, MO. This is a 12-month contract opportunity with our rapidly growing client! This is a great role for someone who is well versed in Python. This is a great role for someone who enjoys writing, testing, and debugging code.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable python code
- Work with internal end-users to understand requirements, formulate use cases,
- Enable engineering solutions for gathering data
- Engineer cloud deployed software solutions
- Improve and maintain code quality
- Provide input to improve internal processes and procedures
Qualifications
- At least 5 years' industry experience building and deploying software
- At least 5 years' industry experience in Python
- AWS cloud platform experience is preferred (other cloud experience is fine)
- Experience building web applications and services
- Experience with Neo4j is a plus
- C# or .Net is also a plus
- Candidates with GIT, Docker, and Web Services experienced are strongly preferred
- Candidates with DevOps and Cloud Security best practices are also strongly preferred
