Experience in Data Warehousing that includes analysis and development of Dataflows, mappings using needed transformations using BODS.
Develop Jobs, Workflows and Data flows based on the specifications using various stages in BODS.
Experience in BODS Designer Components- Projects, Jobs, Workflow, Data Flow, Scripts, Data Stores and Formats.
Knowledge on Data Quality Transformation.
Implementation of SCD type2 dimensions to maintain the History of dimensional data.
Must have knowledge on Data warehousing and Database concepts.
Exposure in BODS performance tuning techniques using parallel processing (Degree of Parallelism), Multithreading, Partitioning, and Database Throughputs to improve job performance
Experience in Data Services Management Console for Monitoring, Execution and Scheduling BODS jobs.
Hands on exp in debugging execution errors using Data Services logs (trace, statics and Error)
Should have involved in the development and implementation of the Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) process and Data Warehouse.
Should have work experience in different types of transformations like Query transformation, Merge, Case, Validations, Map- operation, History Preserving and Table Comparison transformations.
Strong Knowledge in Banking and Financial Sector
Strong knowledge in ETL Projects, assist in the triage of code breaks if required
Document the unit and regression test results and fix issues.
Ensure compliance of overall design with the SVB enterprise development standards.
Support system testing and integration testing activities
