Job Description:

Python Developer with Jupyter expe rience

Skills-Python/Jypyter developer

Mandatory Skills:

·       Expertise level knowledge (3+ years) of Python.

·       Min 2years on Jupyter Skills

·       1+ years of hands on experience with developing Docker images.

·       3+ years of hands-on experience with using GitLab, GitHub or a similar source code management tool.

·       1+ years hands on experience with Kubernetes.

·       Five years’ experience as a software engineer; with at least 2 years as a senior software engineer.

·       3 years’ experience with full-stack web application architecture, design and implementation

·       Proficiency in design patterns and code re-use

·       Proficiency in development by interface and mocking of dependencies.

·       Proven track record with enhancing complicated and full stack open source applications.

·       Proven track record implementing test driven development and executable unit, integration and performance tests.

·       Possess excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills. Must be able to debug and solve technical issues that have no-clear cut solution.

·       Possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills. Proven ability to learn and rapidly adapt to new challenges.

·       Must be able to summarize complex ideas to engineering managers and the business line.

·       Optional Skills:

·       Experience implementing customizations to the Zero to Jupyterhub with Kubernetes (Z2JK) framework.

·       Experience implementing customizations to Jupyterhub including new Tornado request handlers.

·       Experience implementing customizations to Jupyterlab including client side and server-side extensions.

·       Expertise Level TypeScript

·       Working knowledge of the Python Tornado Web framework

·       Working Knowledge of SQLAlchemy object-relational mapping framework or equivalent frameworks.

·       1+ years hands on experience with Kubernetes.

·       1+ years of hands on experience with Helm Chart deployments.

·       1+ years of hands on experience with developing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines or equivalent technology stack

·       1+ years of hands on experience with Artifactory or equivalent platform.

·       Experience implementing Jupyter in a Kubernetes environment.

·       1+ years of hands on experience with Helm Chart deployments.
