A DevOps Engineer and a Principal DevOps Engineer with experience developing/configuring DevOps automation from scratch in an AWS Cloud environment or a VMWare environment.

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building/ configuring DevOps (CI/CD) for software deployments in the cloud that runs between the cell sites & their core/edge data center and then to the radio (mobile devices). The Principal DevOps Engineer/Architect will be responsible for automating the software or the release of that software. This position is a in office role, but the client will allow new hires to work remote up to 4 weeks while they relocate to Denver.

Day-to-day Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain features and functionalities of CI/CD pipelines
• Configure and manage the tools necessary to successfully deploy new features into the 5G network
• Create the necessary feedback loops to communicate the status of the pipeline to the stake holders
• Configure and maintain the Git Repo, Docker registry, CI tool, configuration and deployment tools
• Learn, evaluate and implement new technologies to further our quality and delivery capabilities
• Work in a Scrum team to add functionalities to the CI/CD process
• Work within an Agile development framework to deliver high-quality software
• Create process to analyze logs as a way to determine the health of the feature deployment
• Design and develop state-of-the-art approaches to solving complex quality issues
• Communicate clearly with Product Owners, Developers and management to establish understanding of issues to address and proposed solutions

Qualifications:
• Must have experience developing/ configuring DevOps automation from scratch in an AWS Cloud environment or VMWare environment.
• Experience with open source DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Chef, Puppet, Kubernetes, Terraform, etc.
