Important notes from the Hiring Manager:
We are building a new integration platform. So this is largely new development.
While we are building web services, we are not building a website. This means there is no UI that end-users will interact with. Rather, this is all application-to-application communication. (The communication will happen via REST web services, files, SQL Server queries, IBM MQ, or RabbitMQ.)
This means we don’t need JavaScript, HTML, CSS, dashboard reporting, or other UI skills.
A perfect candidate would have knowledge of distributed messaging patterns, RabbitMQ, C# .NET, WebAPI, and common security mechanisms such as SAML and OAuth. OData would be a plus, but not required.
Think of this as mostly middle-tier development with some backend. No front-end development.
