This position is a QA Tester for the Michigan Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) and will function as a software test analyst on the COREY Project for the Department of Insurance and Financial Services (DIFS).  IFS is replacing their core business system with a system built upon the AMANDA platform from Granicus (formerly Calypter). 

Top Skills Required:

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of intermediate SQL functions.
• Experience with DevOps.
• Experience with Kanban is a plus.

This position will be responsible for the following activities:

• Participate in the development and documentation of the test plan. 
• Develop and document test cases and success criteria scenarios during development of user stories. 
• Execute the test plan. 
• Report and document defects and bugs identified during testing. 
• Troubleshoot and triage defects and bugs. 
• Create test data to validate functional requirements.
• Assist Business SMEs during User Acceptance Testing.

This position requires:

• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of intermediate SQL functions.
• Experience with DevOps
• Experience with Kanban is a plus.
• Effective soft skills as this position will require direct client interaction.
